## How to add an agent with chat and generative UI to your existing app with Copilot Kit

Let your coding agent run Copilot Kit's onboarding command, which inspects your project and guides the integration.

**Who it is for:** A developer with a working React or Next.js app who wants an in-app agent.

### Steps

Create a fresh Copilot Kit project without touching an app you already have.

### Steps

1. Run `npx copilotkit@latest create`
