A Vietnamese template repo that builds short concept-comparison videos for TikTok, Reels and Shorts on HyperFrames, with automatic voiceover.

This file holds every use case of this repo. Each one starts with a "## " heading and ends with its URL.

## How to make a new comparison short with the Claude Code skill with Auto Compare Video

Repo: [Cuongyd196/auto-compare-video](https://github.com/Cuongyd196/auto-compare-video) | Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 60 minutes | Basis: From the README

Ask Claude Code to build a full comparison video project for any concept pair, using the repo's create-video skill.

**Who it is for:** A content creator or teacher who wants a new short comparing two confusing concepts and prefers to describe it to an AI coding agent instead of building the project by hand.

**The problem:** Building a comparison video means creating a project, writing a script, generating voiceover and laying out the scene while keeping the series style consistent.

**The outcome:** A new project folder under videos/ with a generated composition and voiceover files, checked with npm run check.

### Steps

1. Clone the repo with git clone https://github.com/Cuongyd196/auto-compare-video and open its folder. (inferred, check the README)
2. Run `cp .env.example .env` and set TTS_PROVIDER in .env to vieneu, edge or vbee.
3. In Claude Code, run `/create-video Dev và DevOps` with your own concept pair.
4. When asked, confirm the concept pair and the 12-line script, unless AUTO_CREATE_VIDEO is set to 1.
5. Inside the new project folder under videos/, run `npm run check`, then `npm run render`.

### Prompt to paste into your agent

```text
In the auto-compare-video repo, run the create-video skill for the concept pair <concept A and concept B>, following DESIGN.md, and create the project under videos/. Expected output: a new videos/ project folder with index.html and assets/vo/durations.json. Verify that npm run check passes inside that folder before reporting done.
```

### Caveat

The README says the create-video skill asks for confirmation unless AUTO_CREATE_VIDEO=1, so expect a pause before the project is built.

Risk, credentials: The skill reads and writes the shared .env file, which holds TTS settings and any Vbee credentials, so keep .env out of commits as the README says.

## How to build a new comparison video by copying an existing project with Auto Compare Video

Repo: [Cuongyd196/auto-compare-video](https://github.com/Cuongyd196/auto-compare-video) | Difficulty: Advanced | Time: 90 minutes | Basis: From the README

Start a new topic by copying the layout and timeline of an existing video project without using an AI agent.

**Who it is for:** A developer or content maker who wants to add a new comparison video by hand and keep the shared DESIGN.md layout.

**The problem:** Each video is a separate HyperFrames project, so a new topic needs its own folder, brief, voiceover and checks.

**The outcome:** A new project in videos/ with its own BRIEF.md, generated voiceover files and a passing check run.

### Steps

1. Create a new folder under videos/ and run `npx hyperframes@latest init` inside it.
2. Copy the HTML, CSS and timeline from videos/thien-thach-vs-sao-bang and change only the content, icons and audio for the new topic.
3. Write a BRIEF.md for the video with the topic, the comparison angle and the script.
4. Run `node scripts/generate-vo.mjs` in the new project folder.
5. Run `npm run check` before you treat the video as finished.

### Prompt to paste into your agent

```text
In the auto-compare-video repo, copy the project videos/thien-thach-vs-sao-bang into a new folder for the topic <new topic>, keep the 3-zone layout from DESIGN.md, and write BRIEF.md. Expected output: the new project folder with a generated assets/vo/durations.json. Verify that npm run check passes in the new folder.
```

### Caveat

The README asks you to keep the 3-zone layout in DESIGN.md unchanged, so only content, icons and audio should differ between videos.

## How to render a narrated comparison video with free Edge TTS with Auto Compare Video

Repo: [Cuongyd196/auto-compare-video](https://github.com/Cuongyd196/auto-compare-video) | Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 45 minutes | Basis: From the README

Generate voiceover with Edge TTS, which needs no API key, and render an existing comparison video to MP4.

**Who it is for:** A creator with no paid voice service who wants a narrated Vietnamese comparison short from the terminal.

**The problem:** Narration usually needs a paid voice account, and the video timing has to match each spoken line.

**The outcome:** A rendered MP4 in the renders folder of the dev-vs-devops project, with voiceover timed from measured audio length.

### Steps

1. Run `cp .env.example .env` and set TTS_PROVIDER=edge in .env.
2. Run `cd videos/dev-vs-devops`. (inferred, check the README)
3. Run `node scripts/generate-vo.mjs` to create the voiceover files and durations.json.
4. Run `npm run dev` to preview the video in the local preview server.
5. Run `npm run render` to write the MP4 to renders/.

### Prompt to paste into your agent

```text
In the auto-compare-video repo, set TTS_PROVIDER=edge in .env and generate the voiceover for videos/dev-vs-devops, then render it. Expected output: an MP4 in videos/dev-vs-devops/renders/ and assets/vo/durations.json with measured clip lengths. Verify that the render command finishes without errors and that the MP4 plays.
```

### Caveat

The README says Edge TTS is free and needs no API key, but it does not describe any usage limits, so check the service before generating a large batch of videos.
