clodfarm is a Docker-based farm of Claude Code agents that runs around the clock on your Claude subscription, splits missions into sub-agents, and paces itself on real usage limits.

This file holds every use case of this repo. Each one starts with a "## " heading and ends with its URL.

## How to run coding tasks on a repo overnight, merged only if tests pass with Clodfarm

Repo: [matank001/clodfarm](https://github.com/matank001/clodfarm) | Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 1 hour | Basis: From the README

Queue a coding task on a real repo and let Claude agents work on it while you sleep.

**Who it is for:** A developer with a backlog of small features or fixes who wants them worked on overnight, and who needs every change checked by tests before it reaches main.

**The problem:** Running claude in a plain loop forgets what it did, cannot split work, and can burn through your usage limits without warning.

**The outcome:** A sub-agent builds the requested change on its own branch, and the farm puts it on main only after your test command passes.

### Steps

1. Run `curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/matank001/clodfarm/main/scripts/install.sh | sh` on the machine that will host the farm.
2. Open the login URL the installer shows, approve it on any device, and paste the code back.
3. Set FARM_REPO_URL to your repo and add a deploy key, then set FARM_VERIFY_CMD="pytest -q" in your settings.
4. Run `docker exec clodfarm clodfarm spawn "Add CSV export" --prompt "Add CSV export to the report page, with tests."`.
5. Run `docker exec clodfarm clodfarm status` in the morning and check the result on main.

### Prompt to paste into your agent

```text
Use the clodfarm repo (github.com/matank001/clodfarm). Start the farm with the install script, set FARM_REPO_URL to <repo-url> and FARM_VERIFY_CMD to "pytest -q", then spawn a task with `docker exec clodfarm clodfarm spawn "<task title>" --prompt "<task description>"`. Report the output of `docker exec clodfarm clodfarm status`, and confirm the change reached main only after tests passed.
```

### Caveat

Clodfarm paces usage on your subscription, but every Claude on the farm still runs on a Claude subscription, so its limits still apply.

## How to assign work to the farm from your phone with Clodfarm

Repo: [matank001/clodfarm](https://github.com/matank001/clodfarm) | Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 30 minutes | Basis: From the README

Talk to your farm's Claudes from the Claude app and hand them tasks from anywhere.

**Who it is for:** A developer away from their desk who wants to send a change or check on progress from a phone.

**The problem:** Starting and checking agent work usually means being at a terminal on the machine that runs it.

**The outcome:** You ask for work in the Claude app and the farm starts it, and you can see every sub-agent in the farm UI.

### Steps

1. Install and start the farm with the one-line installer, then log in.
2. Open the Claude app on your phone and go to Code.
3. Select [Clodfarm] Clodfarm.
4. Ask for the work in plain words, for example "add CSV export to the report page".
5. Open http://localhost:8080 to watch the sub-agents on the farm.

### Prompt to paste into your agent

```text
Install clodfarm from github.com/matank001/clodfarm with the one-line install script, then open the farm UI at http://localhost:8080. Send the task <task description> from the Claude app under Code, then confirm the new sub-agent appears in the farm UI and report its status.
```

### Caveat

The phone view reaches the farm only where it is running, so the host machine must stay on and reachable.

## How to triage new issues on a schedule with Clodfarm

Repo: [matank001/clodfarm](https://github.com/matank001/clodfarm) | Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 45 minutes | Basis: From the README

Set a recurring job so the farm sorts new issues every weekday morning.

**Who it is for:** A maintainer of a busy repo who wants new issues sorted before the day starts, without doing it by hand.

**The problem:** Triage is repetitive and easy to skip on busy days, so issues pile up.

**The outcome:** A scheduled Claude runs the triage at the times you set, and the job runs without you starting it.

### Steps

1. Install and start the farm, and connect it to your repo with FARM_REPO_URL.
2. Open the Claude app, go to Code, and select [Clodfarm] Clodfarm.
3. Ask for the schedule in plain words, for example "every weekday at 9, triage new issues".
4. Check the farm UI after the first scheduled run to confirm it finished.
5. Adjust or cancel the schedule by asking your Claude in the same chat.

### Prompt to paste into your agent

```text
Using the clodfarm repo at github.com/matank001/clodfarm, set up a recurring task that triages new issues on <repo-url> every weekday at 9. Confirm the schedule exists, then report the result of the first run in the farm UI at http://localhost:8080.
```

### Caveat

The README gives the schedule as an example phrase in the Claude app, so confirm the exact setup in the docs before relying on it.

## How to send work from Claude Code on your laptop to the farm with Clodfarm

Repo: [matank001/clodfarm](https://github.com/matank001/clodfarm) | Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 30 minutes | Basis: From the README

Connect Claude Code on your laptop to the farm and start its sub-agents without leaving your editor.

**Who it is for:** A developer who works in Claude Code on a laptop and wants to offload longer tasks to the farm.

**The problem:** Long tasks tie up the laptop session, and there is no easy way to hand them to a machine that keeps running.

**The outcome:** Claude Code on your laptop can see the farm, start sub-agents on it, and message its Claudes.

### Steps

1. Start the farm and confirm it runs at http://localhost:8080.
2. Run `claude mcp add --transport http --scope user farm http://localhost:8080/mcp` (use https:// and your farm's address if it is remote).
3. Run `/mcp` in Claude Code and sign in when asked.
4. Ask Claude Code to check the farm, for example "what's the farm doing?".
5. Ask it to hand off a task, for example "have the farm add CSV export, on gil".

### Prompt to paste into your agent

```text
Connect Claude Code to the clodfarm MCP server at http://localhost:8080/mcp using `claude mcp add --transport http --scope user farm http://localhost:8080/mcp`, then sign in with `/mcp`. Hand off the task <task description> to the farm and report the sub-agent it starts and its status.
```

### Caveat

Claude Code gets a token for this farm only, and the farm's own page asks for its password, so keep that password private.

## How to launch a paid landing page with Stripe and Google Ads with Clodfarm

Repo: [matank001/clodfarm](https://github.com/matank001/clodfarm) | Difficulty: Advanced | Time: 2 hours | Basis: From the README

Have the farm build a page, make a Stripe price and start a search campaign, with you approving each charge.

**Who it is for:** A solo founder with a small product idea who wants a page, a payment link and paid traffic set up together.

**The problem:** Launching a product means jumping between a build, a payment tool, an ad account and a dashboard, which takes days.

**The outcome:** A deployed landing page, a Stripe payment link, a drafted campaign and a dashboard of spend against sign-ups, with money moving only after you say so.

### Steps

1. Install the farm and connect Stripe once through CONNECTORS (see docs/connectors.md#stripe). Start on Stripe test mode.
2. Connect Google Ads once through CONNECTORS (see docs/connectors.md#google-ads).
3. Ask your Claude in the Claude app to build a landing page with a $9 a month plan and put it live.
4. Ask it to start a campaign at a daily budget you choose, then review the draft before approving it.
5. Open the dashboard and press REFRESH to check sign-ups and ad spend.

### Prompt to paste into your agent

```text
Using the clodfarm repo at github.com/matank001/clodfarm, connect Stripe and Google Ads through CONNECTORS, then ask the farm to build and deploy <product landing page> with a <price> plan. Confirm the Stripe price and payment link exist, and confirm the campaign is drafted and not started until I approve it.
```

### Caveat

The README says real money moves only when you say so, and you can start in Stripe's test mode, but you must check each charge, refund and budget change yourself.

Risk, credentials: This setup asks you to connect Stripe and Google Ads accounts to the farm, so the farm will hold access to your payment and ad accounts.
