/last30days is an agent skill that researches any topic across Reddit, X, YouTube, Hacker News, Polymarket, GitHub and many other sources in parallel, scores results by real engagement such as upvotes, likes and prediction market money, and has the agent write one brief on what happened in the last 30 days. Reddit, HN, Polymarket and GitHub work with zero config; a setup wizard unlocks more sources.

## How to brief yourself on a person before a meeting with Last30days Skill

Repo: [mvanhorn/last30days-skill](https://github.com/mvanhorn/last30days-skill) | Difficulty: Beginner | Time: 15 minutes | Basis: From the README

Ask for anyone's last 30 days across social posts, videos, GitHub and prediction markets in one brief.

**Who it is for:** Someone with a meeting or sales call tomorrow who only finds a stale profile when they search the person.

**The problem:** Search engines surface old profiles, not what the person is doing and saying this month.

**The outcome:** One brief with what they shipped, said and were discussed for in the last 30 days, ranked by engagement.

### Steps

1. In Claude Code run `/plugin marketplace add mvanhorn/last30days-skill` then `/plugin install last30days`
2. For Codex, Cursor, Copilot or Gemini CLI run `npx skills add mvanhorn/last30days-skill -g`
3. Run /last30days followed by the person's name
4. Run the setup wizard once if you want X, YouTube and other sources added

```text
Use mvanhorn/last30days-skill to research <person> over the last 30 days. Give me five bullet points on what they are doing now, each with the source type and engagement count, and flag anything older than 30 days.
```

### Caveat

Availability of each source depends on your credentials, installed tools and the topic.

## How to check a month of trader sentiment on a ticker with Last30days Skill

Repo: [mvanhorn/last30days-skill](https://github.com/mvanhorn/last30days-skill) | Difficulty: Beginner | Time: 15 minutes | Basis: From the README

Run /last30days on a stock or crypto ticker to pull StockTwits, Reddit and Polymarket signals into one read.

**Who it is for:** A retail investor doing homework on a stock who wants to know what people are actually saying and betting.

**The problem:** Sentiment is scattered across forums, social feeds and prediction markets, each with its own login.

**The outcome:** A brief on a ticker's last 30 days of discussion, with StockTwits added automatically and Polymarket odds where they exist.

### Steps

1. Install the skill with `npx skills add mvanhorn/last30days-skill -g` or the Claude Code plugin
2. Run /last30days with the ticker or crypto name; StockTwits auto-activates for tickers
3. Ask it to include extra sources you need, such as DripStack financial newsletters with `--search dripstack`
4. Read the ranked brief and check every number against a primary source before acting

### Prompt to paste into your agent

```text
Use mvanhorn/last30days-skill on <ticker> for the last 30 days. Summarise the bull case, the bear case and any Polymarket odds, each with engagement counts, and clearly separate opinions from facts.
```

### Caveat

Engagement shows what is popular, not what is true. Not financial advice: paper trade first, and remember you can lose money.

## How to spot what is exploding in a topic before it peaks with Last30days Skill

Repo: [mvanhorn/last30days-skill](https://github.com/mvanhorn/last30days-skill) | Difficulty: Beginner | Time: 15 minutes | Basis: From the README

Ask an open question and the skill switches to discovery mode, sweeping fast-moving sources for rising topics.

**Who it is for:** A creator, founder or investor who wants the next big topic in a field before everyone covers it.

**The problem:** By the time a trend reaches the news, the early window is gone.

**The outcome:** A short list of fast-rising topics with the posts behind them and suggested angles.

### Steps

1. Install the skill as above
2. Ask an open question such as /last30days what's exploding in AI agents?
3. Let the agent judge the nominations it collects from Reddit, Hacker News, Digg and X when authenticated
4. Pick a topic and run a normal /last30days query on it for the full brief

### Prompt to paste into your agent

```text
Use mvanhorn/last30days-skill in discovery mode for <field>. Return the 5 fastest rising topics with one supporting post count each, then run a full 30 day brief on the top one.
```

### Caveat

X results need your own authenticated session, so discovery is narrower without it.
