Repo: [scenario-labs/skills](https://github.com/scenario-labs/skills) | Use cases: 5 | Page: https://dedupedai.com/use-cases/scenario-labs-skills/

A set of Agent Skills that teach AI coding agents to create images, video, audio, textures, and 3D assets through the Scenario MCP server, plus expert skills that drive DCC and game engine software.

This file holds every use case of this repo. Each one starts with a "## " heading and ends with its URL.

## How to generate a matching set of game sprites and icons with Skills

Repo: [scenario-labs/skills](https://github.com/scenario-labs/skills) | Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 30 minutes | Basis: From the README

Have an agent produce sprites, icons, and props in one style, with transparent backgrounds, through Scenario.

**Who it is for:** An indie game developer who needs dozens of consistent item icons and sprites before a playtest.

**The problem:** Hand-drawing or prompting one asset at a time gives inconsistent style, and cutting out backgrounds by hand is slow.

**The outcome:** A folder of sprites and icons in a shared style with transparent backgrounds, ready to drop into a project.

### Steps

1. `npx skills add scenario-labs/skills --skill scenario`
2. `npx skills add scenario-labs/skills --skill scenario-game-assets` (inferred, check the README)
3. For Claude Code, run `claude mcp add --transport http scenario https://mcp.scenario.com/mcp`, or add the same URL to your MCP client and sign in.
4. Ask the agent for the icon list, one line per asset, and let the scenario-game-assets skill run a style-consistent batch.
5. Have the agent download the finished files to your project folder.

### Prompt to paste into your agent

```text
Using the scenario-labs/skills repo, generate a batch of sprites and icons from the list in <item-list-file>, keeping one art style and transparent backgrounds. Save the files to <output-folder> and report how many succeeded. Verify that each PNG opens and has an alpha channel.
```

### Caveat

The Skills need the Scenario MCP server connected and a Scenario account, so the first run depends on that sign-in succeeding.

## How to make seamless textures and 360 skyboxes for an engine with Skills

Repo: [scenario-labs/skills](https://github.com/scenario-labs/skills) | Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 30 minutes | Basis: From the README

Have an agent generate tileable PBR textures and equirectangular skyboxes sized for engine import.

**Who it is for:** A game or environment artist building a level who needs ground, wall, and sky materials fast.

**The problem:** Textures that do not tile cleanly show seams, and skyboxes need the right projection and size for the engine.

**The outcome:** Seamless tileable textures with PBR maps and 360 panoramas, sized for engine export.

### Steps

1. `npx skills add scenario-labs/skills --skill scenario`
2. `npx skills add scenario-labs/skills --skill scenario-textures` (inferred, check the README)
3. `npx skills add scenario-labs/skills --skill scenario-skyboxes` (inferred, check the README)
4. Ask the agent for one texture set and one skybox, naming the surface and mood.
5. Have the agent check the tiling and export sizes before saving the files.

### Prompt to paste into your agent

```text
Using the scenario-labs/skills repo, generate a seamless <surface> texture with PBR maps and a 360 equirectangular skybox of <scene>. Save both to <output-folder>. Verify that the texture tiles without a visible seam when repeated.
```

### Caveat

The README lists the texture and skybox Skills separately, so install both and confirm the output format your engine expects before importing.

## How to shoot product packshots and scenes from a real photo with Skills

Repo: [scenario-labs/skills](https://github.com/scenario-labs/skills) | Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 30 minutes | Basis: From the README

Turn one real product photo into packshots and lifestyle scenes with label checks.

**Who it is for:** A small brand marketer who has one good product photo and needs store and social images this week.

**The problem:** Re-shooting every product in new settings costs time, and generated edits can alter the label text.

**The outcome:** Packshots and lifestyle scenes from the original photo, with label fidelity checked before use.

### Steps

1. `npx skills add scenario-labs/skills --skill scenario`
2. `npx skills add scenario-labs/skills --skill scenario-product-shots` (inferred, check the README)
3. Give the agent your product photo and a list of target scenes.
4. Ask the agent to run the label-fidelity gate on each output and reject any that change the text.
5. Have the agent download the approved images.

### Prompt to paste into your agent

```text
Using the scenario-labs/skills repo, create packshots and lifestyle scenes from the product photo <photo-path> for the scenes in <scene-list>. Save approved images to <output-folder>. Verify that the label text in each approved image matches the original photo.
```

### Caveat

The label-fidelity gate reduces risk but a person should still compare the final label against the real product before publishing.

## How to build a side-scroller sprite kit with parallax layers with Skills

Repo: [scenario-labs/skills](https://github.com/scenario-labs/skills) | Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 45 minutes | Basis: From the README

Generate side-view hero and enemy sprite strips, parallax layers, and platform tiles.

**Who it is for:** A platformer developer who needs a full set of side-view art for a first level.

**The problem:** Side-view animation strips, background layers, and platforms are many separate jobs that must match in style.

**The outcome:** Sprite strips for run, walk, attack, and hurt poses, plus parallax layers, a seamless wall texture, and a platform strip.

### Steps

1. `npx skills add scenario-labs/skills --skill scenario`
2. `npx skills add scenario-labs/skills --skill scenario-side-view-game-kit` (inferred, check the README)
3. Describe the hero, the enemies, and the level theme to the agent.
4. Ask for the hero run and attack strips first, then the parallax layers and platform strip.
5. Have the agent download each set into a separate folder.

### Prompt to paste into your agent

```text
Using the scenario-labs/skills repo, generate side-view sprite strips for <hero-description> with run, walk, attack, and hurt poses, plus three parallax layers for <level-theme>. Save everything to <output-folder>. Verify that the hero strip frames are the same size.
```

### Caveat

Sprite frame sizes and poses may still need a manual cleanup pass in your own tool before they animate cleanly in the engine.

## How to check prices before running a generation batch with Skills

Repo: [scenario-labs/skills](https://github.com/scenario-labs/skills) | Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 15 minutes | Basis: From the README

Have an agent price a planned batch in Scenario before spending credits on it.

**Who it is for:** A content producer who must stay within a fixed budget when generating many images or videos.

**The problem:** Running a large batch without checking cost first can use up the budget on the wrong settings.

**The outcome:** A priced plan for the batch, approved or changed before any generation runs.

### Steps

1. `npx skills add scenario-labs/skills --skill scenario`
2. Connect the Scenario MCP server to your agent, using `claude mcp add --transport http scenario https://mcp.scenario.com/mcp` for Claude Code.
3. List the planned generations with model and size for each one.
4. Ask the agent to price the whole batch and show the total before it runs anything.
5. Approve, trim, or change the settings, then start the run.

### Prompt to paste into your agent

```text
Using the scenario-labs/skills repo, price a batch of <count> generations described in <batch-file> before running any of them. Report the total cost and the cost per item. Verify that no generation starts until I approve the total.
```

### Caveat

The Skills say they price before spending, but the price check only covers the generations you list, so add any new items to the plan before approving.
