# How to fan one prompt across five agents and merge the best result with orca

Send the same task to several coding agents in isolated worktrees, compare the diffs, and keep the winner.

**Who it is for:** Developer stuck on a tricky refactor who wants more than one agent's attempt before committing

**The problem:** Trying one agent at a time is slow, and agents sharing one checkout overwrite each other's changes.

**The outcome:** You get several independent attempts at the same task, each on its own branch, and merge only the one you like.

## Steps

1. Install Orca and open your repo in it.
2. Start Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode, each in its own worktree.
3. Paste the same prompt into each agent.
4. Review each worktree's diff side by side, then merge the winner.
