A standalone agent skill, for Claude Code and Codex, that helps an agent turn a creative idea into a Three.js or Blender 3D scene and check the rendered frames.

This file holds every use case of this repo. Each one starts with a "## " heading and ends with its URL.

## How to build an explorable 3D scene from a one-line idea with 3dviz Pro Max

Repo: [viettranx/3dviz-pro-max](https://github.com/viettranx/3dviz-pro-max) | Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 1 hour | Basis: From the README

Turn a short creative prompt into a Three.js scene an agent builds and checks on screen.

**Who it is for:** A creative coder or hobbyist who has a scene idea, such as a fantasy village, and wants a working first view without choosing a renderer or writing a spec first.

**The problem:** Starting a 3D scene from a blank project means choosing a renderer, lighting, camera and art direction before anything appears on screen.

**The outcome:** A runnable Three.js scene with a distinct art direction and moving creatures, plus a report of what was built and what was observed in the rendered frames.

### Steps

1. Clone the repository: `git clone https://github.com/viettranx/3dviz-pro-max.git`
2. Copy the whole `skills/3dviz-pro-max/` folder into your agent's skill directory, for example `~/.claude/skills/`, and start a new session.
3. Name the skill in your first prompt so the agent loads it.
4. Give the agent the starting sentence and let it pick the representation and refine the scene from observed results.
5. Review the scene in the browser and ask for changes to the art direction or motion.

### Prompt to paste into your agent

```text
Using the 3dviz-pro-max skill in the repository at <repo-path>, build a small fantasy village I can explore in Three.js. Choose a distinctive art direction, add a few moving creatures, and inspect the result. Report what you built and what you observed in the rendered frames.
```

### Caveat

The skill supplies guidance and starter files, and your agent must supply the tools that build and run the scene; the repository states it does not render or judge a scene itself.

## How to make an interactive product assembly for design review with 3dviz Pro Max

Repo: [viettranx/3dviz-pro-max](https://github.com/viettranx/3dviz-pro-max) | Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 1 hour | Basis: From the README

Model a product or mechanism, such as a gear pair or folding lamp, as an explorable scene.

**Who it is for:** A product designer or mechanical engineering student who needs to show how parts of a product or mechanism fit and move, for example a gear pair or folding lamp.

**The problem:** Static drawings hide how parts connect and move, and building a moving assembly from scratch takes time away from the design itself.

**The outcome:** An interactive 3D assembly showing parts, connections and motion, with frames captured for the review record.

### Steps

1. Install the skill folder as described in the repository install steps.
2. Name the product or mechanism and its parts, such as a 24/16-tooth spur pair with module 10 mm.
3. Ask the agent to check the Products and assemblies subjects and reuse a matching kit blueprint where one fits.
4. Ask for the parts to move through their connections so the behavior matches the geometry.
5. Run the capture helper on the built scene and review the frames.

### Prompt to paste into your agent

```text
Using the 3dviz-pro-max skill in <repo-path>, build an interactive Three.js assembly of <product or mechanism>, with parts that connect and move. Reuse a suitable kit blueprint if one fits. Report which parts were modeled, what motion was observed, and which frames were captured.
```

### Caveat

The repository says kit tiers do not cap artistic quality or factual fidelity, so any dimensions in the assembly must still be checked against your own source.

## How to create an interactive lesson on eigenvectors or Bloch spheres with 3dviz Pro Max

Repo: [viettranx/3dviz-pro-max](https://github.com/viettranx/3dviz-pro-max) | Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 1 hour | Basis: From the README

Build a runnable visual study for a math or quantum topic from the catalog.

**Who it is for:** A teacher or tutor preparing a lesson on linear algebra or qubit states who wants an interactive visual rather than a static slide.

**The problem:** Explaining eigenvectors, SVD or qubit states on a whiteboard is hard to follow, and writing a custom interactive demo takes too long for one lesson.

**The outcome:** A runnable interactive study showing the chosen concept, with captured frames for handouts.

### Steps

1. Install the skill folder as described in the repository install steps.
2. Ask the agent to search the catalog for the Linear algebra direction, for example eigenvectors, SVD or the single-qubit Bloch ball.
3. Have the agent adapt a matching example study or recipe to your lesson.
4. Open the built scene and adjust labels, values and views for your students.
5. Capture frames of the key views for your handout.

### Prompt to paste into your agent

```text
Using the 3dviz-pro-max skill in <repo-path>, build a runnable interactive Three.js study on <topic, for example eigenvectors or the single-qubit Bloch ball>, starting from a matching recipe or example study. Report which catalog entry was used and which frames show the key points.
```

### Caveat

The skill states that factual explanations need sources, so the mathematical claims in the study should be checked against a textbook or other source before teaching.

## How to check a built 3D scene by capturing its real frames with 3dviz Pro Max

Repo: [viettranx/3dviz-pro-max](https://github.com/viettranx/3dviz-pro-max) | Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 45 minutes | Basis: From the README

Drive a built scene through named views and clicks, then review the saved PNGs and console log.

**Who it is for:** A developer who has a Three.js scene from an agent and wants evidence of what actually appears on screen before accepting the result.

**The problem:** An agent describing a 3D scene without looking at it can claim things that are not visible, and manual checking of every view is slow.

**The outcome:** PNG frames for each named view and the browser console log, which the agent reviews against its report.

### Steps

1. Build the scene with the skill, or use an existing built scene.
2. Install Playwright for the capture helper, which the repository lists as an optional install (inferred: check the repository docs for the exact install command).
3. Run `scripts/capture.py` against the built scene (inferred: read the script header for its arguments).
4. Open the PNG frames and the console log that the helper writes.
5. Ask the agent to compare each claim in its report with the captured frames and correct any mismatch.

### Prompt to paste into your agent

```text
Using the 3dviz-pro-max skill in <repo-path>, run the capture helper on the built scene at <scene-path> and save the named views as PNG frames with the console log. Report whether each claimed feature appears in the frames and list any mismatch.
```

### Caveat

The repository states the Python helpers do not render or judge a scene themselves, so a person must still review the captured frames.
