- npx for the skills CLI
- An EAS account for the services skills (paid steps are labeled)
Steps
- Install the Expo Skills with
npx skills@latest add expo/skills --skill '*' - Ask the agent to start with expo-overview, then use expo-web-to-native
- Have it set up the folder structure with expo-project-structure and routes with expo-router
- Use expo-dom for screens you want to keep as web code for now
- Build a development client with expo-dev-client and test on a device
Prompt for your agent
With expo/skills, migrate my <Next.js or Vite> app to a native Expo app. Start from expo-overview, use expo-web-to-native and expo-router, keep <screens> as DOM components for now, and give me a dev client build to test.
Caveat. This card is written from the expo/skills README, not from a test run by Deduped. Before you start, make sure you have an Expo or React Native project. Check the repo for newer instructions before you rely on these steps.
