The best AI newsletter is the one that reads everything for you

A short checklist for picking an AI newsletter, and how Deduped measures up.

There are hundreds of AI newsletters now. Most of them are good at something: one is fast, one is funny, one goes deep on research. The trouble starts when you subscribe to five of them. The same model launch shows up five times, each with a slightly different headline, and the story that actually matters to you gets buried under the repeats.

So the question is not really which newsletter writes best. It is which one saves you the most time without making you miss anything. Here is the checklist we use.

What to look for in an AI newsletter

Coverage. One writer cannot follow every lab, paper, repo and policy fight. Look for a newsletter that reads widely, not one that rewrites the same few headlines everyone else has.

No repeats. If a story is covered by ten outlets, you should read it once. Duplication is the biggest hidden cost of following AI news.

Ranking. A flat list of fifty links is homework. The best AI newsletter tells you what matters most today and puts it first.

A point of view. A link is not a summary. You want a plain explanation, an honest take, and what the story means for your work.

A short read. If it takes more than ten minutes, you will start skipping it. Five minutes is the sweet spot for a daily email.

How Deduped measures up

Deduped reads 1,000+ AI sources every morning: newsletters, lab blogs, research papers, GitHub and the feeds that matter. When many outlets cover the same story, we merge them into one entry and rank it by how much it matters. Every story gets our take and a line on what it means for you. The whole issue takes about five minutes and lands at 8 AM ET. It is free.

You do not have to take our word for it. The stories below are from recent issues, and every past issue is in the archive.

Questions

Is Deduped free?

Yes. The daily email is free, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Can Deduped replace my other AI newsletters?

That is the idea. Because we read 1,000+ sources and merge repeats, most readers find they can drop several subscriptions and still see every story that matters.
