Who it is forA content creator or designer staring at a blank brief who needs fresh angles before picking one.
The problemOrdinary brainstorming returns the most likely ideas, which anchors everything you think next on the first answer.
The outcomeAn interactive mind map, an orientation paragraph naming recurring tensions, and written wonderings you can read and pull on.
What you need first
- Access to Claude with skills support
- Either the wonder-pill.skill file from the Releases page or a local copy of the Wonder-Pill repository
- A topic you want to explore, plus any constraints such as budget, deadline, or materials
Steps
- Download wonder-pill.skill from the Releases page of ara-mkr/Wonder-Pill and click Save skill on the file card in Claude.
- Open a Claude chat and type /wonderpill followed by your brief topic.
- Answer the three intake questions: how far it can drift, what is off-limits, and whether it should go hunting for a real weird fact.
- Explore the interactive mind map by dragging to pan and clicking nodes to read their gut-check lines.
- Read the orientation paragraph and the written wonderings, then pick one thread and run the skill again on that branch.
Prompt for your agent
Using the Wonder Pill skill from ara-mkr/Wonder-Pill, run /wonderpill on <brief topic> with the constraints <constraints>. Return the interactive mind map, the orientation paragraph, and the written wonderings. Verify that the output ends with an open invitation and does not rank or recommend a single option.
Caveat. The README says roughly a third of any map will be useless by design, so the skill is meant to be filtered by you rather than trusted as a list of answers.
