Who it is forA researcher who wants polished notes from conference talks without babysitting scripts.
The problemRunning a dozen pipeline stages by hand is tedious.
The outcomeAgent-driven notes where every claim links to a transcript moment and slide.
What you need first
- Python with the requirements files
- A GPU for local Whisper transcription
- Ollama with minicpm-v:8b for optional slide semantics
- An LLM for the final synthesis stage
Steps
- Copy the repo tree into ~/.claude/skills/lecture-to-notes/
- Set up requirements and config.yaml
- Ask Claude Code to process a material folder
- Review the audit output for unsupported claims
Prompt for your agent
Using the lecture-to-notes skill, process <folder> into notes and the HTML viewer. Report any claims audit_note.py flagged and confirm each summary point cites a timestamp.
Caveat. Stages 0 to E run standalone, but the final prose synthesis needs an LLM.
