How to stress-test a plan or design doc before building with Agy Staff

Have agy challenge a plan from several angles before you commit to it.

Who it is forA developer or tech lead with a migration plan or design decision who wants it challenged before work starts.

The problemPlans are often accepted after one read by the author, so weak assumptions survive into implementation.

The outcomeA multi-angle critique of the plan or decision, returned as a job report.

What you need first

  • Antigravity CLI (agy) installed and authenticated
  • Node.js installed
  • Claude Code or OpenAI Codex (Pi and OpenCode are also supported per the README)

Steps

  1. Install the Antigravity CLI with curl -fsSL https://antigravity.google/cli/install.sh | bash, then confirm with agy --version.
  2. Install the plugin in Claude Code with claude plugin marketplace add keli-wen/agy-staff and claude plugin install agy@agy-staff, or in Codex with codex plugin marketplace add https://github.com/keli-wen/agy-staff and codex plugin add agy@agy-staff.
  3. Restart the harness.
  4. Run /agy:reviewer Challenge the migration plan in docs/plan.md in Claude Code, or the same text with $agy:reviewer in Codex, replacing the path with your file.
  5. Wait for the job, then read the critique and decide which points to address.

Prompt for your agent

Using the keli-wen/agy-staff plugin, ask the reviewer persona to challenge <plan file path> in <repo>. Expect a multi-angle critique of the plan. Verify that each objection points to a specific section of the plan.

Caveat. The README describes this as a multi-angle challenge, so treat the output as input to your judgment rather than a verdict on the plan.
