Who it is forA developer who uses Claude Code, Codex and Cursor and has lost track of what each one loads.
The problemSkills and MCP configs are scattered across different tool folders.
The outcomeA unified inventory with drift warnings and per-agent comparisons.
What you need first
- macOS, Windows or Linux desktop
- pnpm and Node to build from source
Steps
- Install the desktop app for your OS
- On macOS clear quarantine with
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/SkillBuddy.app - Open the Dashboard to see detected agents and drift warnings
- Use the Skills page to compare what each agent actually loads
Prompt for your agent
Open konnga/skill-buddy and list every Skill and MCP server it detects per agent. Flag any drift warnings and confirm which agents are missing a skill the others have.
Caveat. Removing the macOS quarantine flag bypasses Gatekeeper, so only do it for a build you trust.
Use this in your AI agent
Ask your agent
