Who it is forA team lead or solo project owner who needs several specialised agents to split a larger job such as a report or launch plan.
The problemOne agent handling every part of a project loses focus, and separate chats never share progress.
The outcomeA group where each bot keeps its own role and history while contributing to the same goal.
What you need first
- A Mac running macOS 26 for the main Noodle app
- An account for at least one supported harness (Codex, Claude Code, FX, Grok Build, Muse Code, OpenCode v2, Antigravity) or Apple Intelligence on device
- A Noodle Hub on an always-on Mac, if you want to use shared harnesses or phone access
Steps
- Create at least two bots in Noodle, each with a different role written into its backstory.
- Create a group in Noodle and add the bots you want working together.
- Describe the shared goal in the group and attach the files each bot needs.
- Review each bot's replies in the group and adjust roles in Edit Bot if the work overlaps.
Prompt for your agent
Using the Noodle repo at github.com/pdparchitect/noodle, set up a group of two bots to work toward <shared goal>. Expected output: a group containing both bots and a first shared message from each. Verify that each bot's backstory describes a different role.
Caveat. The README describes groups but does not say how many bots a group can hold, so test with a small group first.
