Who it is forA Roblox creator on Windows who has a place open in Studio and wants a new mechanic, object, or system built without writing every script by hand.
The problemWriting instances, properties, and scripts by hand for each new feature takes time, and checking each change in Studio is slow.
The outcomeThe agent reads and edits instances, properties, and scripts in your place, shows each script change as a diff, and reports what it built.
What you need first
- Windows and Roblox Studio (macOS is untested)
- Node.js 20 or newer
- A model: ChatGPT with the Codex app, Claude with Claude Code, Gemini with the Antigravity CLI, or any OpenAI- or Anthropic-compatible endpoint
- Git, to clone the repository
Steps
- Run
git clone https://github.com/S4US/Roqer.gitand thencd Roqer. - Run
npm install, thennpm run build:all, thennpm run start:desktop. - Open or restart Roblox Studio so it loads the Roqer plugin, then open your place.
- In Roqer, pick a model and describe the feature you want, such as a door that opens on a button press.
- Review each script change shown as a diff and approve it, or set the agent to a more restrictive mode first.
Prompt for your agent
Using the Roqer repo at <repo path>, start the desktop app with `npm run start:desktop`, open the place <place name> in Roblox Studio, and ask the agent to build <feature description>. Expected output: the instances and scripts created or changed, with each script diff listed. Verify that a script edit was not refused because the script changed after the agent read it.
Caveat. Roqer needs Windows, Roblox Studio, and Node.js 20 or newer, and macOS is untested.
