Remote script. The plugin pulls the skills from this GitHub marketplace, so review the repo before installing it.
Who it is forA Claude Code user who wants the fact-checking skills to work without maintaining copied files, and who will not also install the skills.sh copy.
The problemCopied skills drift from the upstream repo over time, and keeping them current by hand is extra work.
The outcomeA Claude Code plugin bundle of the skills that updates when a new version ships, ready for fact-checking prompts.
What you need first
- uv installed (the fetch script uses it to resolve its dependencies)
- An agent with web search and the ability to run scripts, such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or Gemini CLI
- A YouTube, TikTok, article, tweet, or PDF link, or pasted text
Steps
- Open Claude Code.
/plugin marketplace add SerhiiKorniienko/bullshit-detector/plugin install bullshit-detector@serhii-korniienko- Ask: is this bullshit? <URL>
- Do not also run the skills.sh installer, because two copies give Claude Code two copies of every skill.
Prompt for your agent
In Claude Code, add the marketplace SerhiiKorniienko/bullshit-detector and install bullshit-detector@serhii-korniienko. Then fact-check <URL> and return the per-claim verdicts and the 0-10 BS score. Verify that only one copy of each skill is installed.
Caveat. The plugin is read-only and always current, so you cannot edit the skills the way you can with the copied skills.sh install.
