Who it is forA developer who wants a quick AI read on a few names across markets before the open.
The problemWaiting for a scheduled run is too slow when one stock suddenly moves.
The outcomeA fresh analysis of the tickers you chose, or a market wide review, printed and pushed to your channels.
What you need first
- A GitHub account (for the Actions route) or Python and pip locally
- At least one AI model API key, such as Gemini, Anthropic, an OpenAI compatible key, or Ollama locally
- At least one notification channel such as a Telegram bot, Discord webhook or email
- Optional: a news search API key, which the README says strongly improves news and catalyst quality
Steps
- Clone the repo, then run
pip install -r requirements.txt - Run
cp .env.example .envand fill in your AI key and notification settings - Test without sending anything with
python main.py --dry-run - Analyse specific stocks with
python main.py --stocks 600519,hk00700,AAPL,2330.TW - Get a market review with
python main.py --market-review
Prompt for your agent
Install ZhuLinsen/daily_stock_analysis locally, configure .env with <AI key> and run python main.py with --stocks <tickers>. Show me the score, trend and risk alerts for each stock, and note any data source that failed.
Caveat. AI written price levels are model output on free data, so check them against your broker. Not financial advice: paper trade first, and remember you can lose money.
