Authorization notice. Hermes Speech is dual-use. Only use it on software, sites and systems you own or have explicit permission to test.

Who it is forA person or team running Hermes speech who needs to avoid running out of AllModels credit during regular use.

The problemSpeech generation can stop when the account balance is low, and finding the balance and top-up path takes manual steps.

The outcomeYou know the current balance and have a top-up link for the amount you choose.

What you need first

  • Hermes Agent 0.20.0 or later
  • An AllModels account, created through the email signup the plugin starts when no ALLMODELS_API_KEY is set
  • Terminal access to run hermes plugins install, or a Hermes session where you can send the install message

Steps

  1. Run /speech balance to see the current AllModels balance.
  2. Run /speech topup 25 to create a top-up link for 25 dollars.
  3. Open the link and complete the top-up through AllModels.
  4. Run /speech balance again to confirm the new balance.

Prompt for your agent

Using the hermes-speech plugin from allmodels-io/hermes-speech, check the AllModels balance and create a top-up link for <target amount>. Expected output: the current balance and a top-up link. Verify that the balance increases after the top-up is completed.

Caveat. The README gives the top-up example in dollars through the /speech topup command, so check the amount and currency shown on the AllModels page before paying.
