How to install the full method with the Skills CLI with BMad Method

What you need first

  • Node.js 20.12+ and Python 3.10+ for v6.12
  • uv for setup scripts
  • An AI coding tool such as Claude Code or Codex

Steps

  1. Run npx skills add bmad-code-org/BMAD-METHOD --skill '*' in your project
  2. Pick the coding tools to install to
  3. Ask bmad to run bmad setup
  4. Use bmad setup later to update and clean up renamed skills

Caveat. Installing without --skill '*' requires picking modules yourself, including bmad for setup and help.
