Quick start with Chatbox

1. Check you have what it needs: Windows 10 x64, macOS 11 or later, or Ubuntu 20.04+ / AppImage distros; An API key for a cloud provider, or Ollama for local models; To build from source: Node.js and pnpm.
2. Open chatboxai/chatbox on GitHub and read the README and license.
3. Download the installer for your platform from the releases page
4. Install and launch Chatbox
5. Configure your AI provider, such as OpenAI or Claude, in settings
6. Start chatting and switch providers per conversation
