How to fill a job application and stop before submit with Endoplexity

Let an agent complete a web application form with your resume, then approve the final submit yourself.

Credentials. The agent works inside your real logged-in browser session and fills personal details, so review every field before you approve a submit.

Who it is forA job seeker applying to many roles on Greenhouse-style forms who wants the repetitive field filling done without giving up control of the final submission.

The problemEach application repeats the same personal details and file uploads, and the work takes time that could go to choosing roles.

The outcomeA filled application in your own logged-in browser, with the agent paused at any irreversible action until you approve it.

What you need first

  • Node 24 or newer, checked with `node -v`
  • Chrome 114 or newer
  • The claude CLI, the cursor-agent CLI, or both, already logged in to a subscription (Claude Pro is enough)
  • Git, to clone the repository

Steps

  1. Run npm install and npm run setup from the cloned Endoplexity folder, then load the extension/ folder in Chrome.
  2. Copy .endo-files.example.json to .endo-files.json with cp .endo-files.example.json .endo-files.json, then set your resume path under the resume key.
  3. Open the application form in Chrome before pressing Run, since a fresh Run attaches to the tab you are viewing.
  4. Select watch mode in the panel so every action is reviewed, and do not use trust mode for this task.
  5. Press Run, check each filled field, and approve or deny the approval gate when the agent reaches the submit button.

Prompt for your agent

Using the Endoplexity repo at <repo path>, fill the application form open in Chrome at <application URL> using the resume configured under the resume key, in watch mode. Stop before any submit or send action and report which fields were filled and which were left blank. Verify that the submit button was not clicked before you approved it.

Caveat. The approval gate matches English button words such as submit and confirm, so a button with another label or only an icon will not trigger it, which is why watch mode is recommended.
