Who it is forA founder launching a business who needs a logo, fonts and colours that fit together and has no designer on hand.
The problemLogo, typography and colour are often chosen separately, so the parts do not belong together and the result looks generic.
The outcomeA chosen identity set with a PDF brand guidelines kit, logo files, design tokens and a font sheet.
What you need first
- Claude Code, or another agent that reads Agent Skills (the README tests end to end in Claude Code only)
- Python 3.10+ and a Chromium-based browser (Chrome, Chromium, Edge or Brave)
- uv, ideally, so the scripts install their own Python packages on first use
- Internet access to Google Fonts and PyPI during setup and measurement
Steps
- In Claude Code, run
/plugin marketplace add fatihaydost/brand-identity-skill. - Then run
/plugin install brand-identity@brand-identity-skill. - Ask in plain words, for example: Logo, fonts and colours for a specialty coffee roaster in Lisbon.
- Answer the one round of questions about what to make, how many sets, languages and competitors.
- Review the board of identity cards and pick one set, or a mix such as logo from A and palette from B.
Prompt for your agent
Using the repo fatihaydost/brand-identity-skill, design a brand identity for <business brief> with three sets, then stop at the board for my pick. Expected output: identity cards for each set and, after my choice, a brand guidelines kit. Verify that every set shows its contrast and licence measurements before the board.
Caveat. The skill does not search trademark registers, so a logo must be cleared for trademark use in the countries where the brand will trade.
