Who it is forA marketing lead with a live website who wants a fresh look without redesigning the logo.

The problemA site's type and colours drift over time, and changing them by hand means guessing how they will look across pages.

The outcomePreviews of new type and palette sets applied to your own pages, with the logo kept as it is.

What you need first

  • Claude Code, or another agent that reads Agent Skills (the README tests end to end in Claude Code only)
  • Python 3.10+ and a Chromium-based browser (Chrome, Chromium, Edge or Brave)
  • uv, ideally, so the scripts install their own Python packages on first use
  • Internet access to Google Fonts and PyPI during setup and measurement

Steps

  1. Install the plugin with /plugin marketplace add fatihaydost/brand-identity-skill and /plugin install brand-identity@brand-identity-skill in Claude Code.
  2. Ask: New type and palette for https://example.com, keep the logo (replace the URL with your site).
  3. Answer the questions about the sets you want and the languages the site uses.
  4. Review the previews on your own pages and pick a set, using keep for parts you like and refresh for parts you want to change.

Prompt for your agent

Using the repo fatihaydost/brand-identity-skill, read the current logo, type and colours at <site URL>, keep the logo, and preview two new type and palette sets on the site's own pages. Expected output: page previews for each set and a board to choose from. Verify that the logo in the previews is the original file.

Caveat. The skill opens your site in a headless browser, so it needs a local Chromium-based browser, and it reads the site only when you give its URL.
