How to make a summary page accessible for ADHD or dyslexia readers with Skills

Add the accessible mode to a summary page so readers get the same facts with less visual load.

Who it is forA team lead sharing a status page with colleagues who need an accessible format.

The problemThe standard page can be too dense for some readers, so the same facts need a format they can take in more easily.

The outcomeAn accessible HTML page with the same facts, status repeated top and bottom, literal headings, colour-coded state and no motion.

What you need first

  • Claude with skills support, such as Claude Code, using the ~/.claude/skills folder
  • A local copy of the isas1/skills repo for the install commands
  • A git repository to summarise, for the page use cases

Steps

  1. Run cp -r skills/summary ~/.claude/skills/ from the repo root.
  2. Ask summary, make it ADHD friendly for the branch or work tree you want to share.
  3. Open the generated page and compare its facts with a plain summary of the same target.
  4. Check that the page has no motion and that its headings are literal.

Prompt for your agent

Using the summary skill in accessible mode from isas1/skills, build an HTML page for the repo at <path>. Expect one self-contained page with the same facts as the plain version. Verify that the page contains no motion and that its facts match a plain summary.

Caveat. Modes stack and accessible wins where they conflict, so compare the output against the plain page before sharing.
