How to ask an AI to explain your sleep and training trends with Zepp Bridge

Sync your Zepp records locally, pick the dates you care about, and get a Markdown file to discuss with your AI.

Credentials. Connecting Advanced data requires your Zepp email or phone number and password, so only do this on a computer you control.

Who it is forA Zepp or Amazfit owner who wants to understand why their sleep, recovery or pace changed, and has no time to read every chart.

The problemHealth numbers sit in the Zepp app as separate screens, and pasting screenshots into an AI loses detail and context.

The outcomeAn AI reads a structured file with your chosen records, their units and a note on which dates have data, and answers your question from that.

What you need first

  • A Zepp or Amazfit account you are entitled to access
  • A Windows, macOS or Linux computer to install the desktop app, or a server for headless use
  • An AI account of your choice, such as ChatGPT, Claude or DeepSeek, for the AI features
  • A compatible watch and the Zepp app on your phone for sending training plans

Steps

  1. Install Zepp Bridge for your system from the Releases page and open it.
  2. In Settings, open Account and devices, click Connect and finish the official Zepp authorization in your browser.
  3. Wait for the sync to finish, then check the overview for the records that were retrieved.
  4. Add the days, workouts and data categories you want to the collection box, write your question and check the coverage note.
  5. Open your chosen AI site and paste or drop in the generated Markdown file, then ask your question.

Prompt for your agent

Using the ZeppBridge MCP server in <path to your MCP client config>, query my sleep and workout records for <date range> and summarise the changes in resting heart rate, HRV and training load. Expected output: a short written summary with the dates used. Verify that any date without samples is reported as missing, not treated as zero.

Caveat. Which metrics appear depends on what your device measures, what the Zepp cloud keeps and the authorization scope, and the AI only sees the data you choose to share.
