Who it is forA developer whose app looks dated but who cannot risk losing a form handler or a link in a redesign.

The problemAgent redesigns often drop a field, a handler or a heading along the way.

The outcomeA side-by-side before and after with the same content and wiring, and a failed check if anything went missing.

What you need first

  • Node 18 or later
  • Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor or OpenCode
  • For the browser checks and screenshots: puppeteer-core and Chrome

Steps

  1. Install the skill with npx skills add nutlope/hallmark -g
  2. Run /hallmark redesign ./src/app on the folder you want rebuilt
  3. Say keep the layout for a restyle only, or polish to fix only the tells
  4. Let sloplint --before record every link, field, handler and heading first; sloplint --kept fails the redesign if one is missing
  5. Review the side-by-side before and after handoff

Prompt for your agent

Use Nutlope/hallmark to redesign <folder> with /hallmark redesign, keeping all content and wiring. Run the before and kept checks and show me the side-by-side, plus any link, field or handler the kept check flagged.

Caveat. Hallmark never redesigns an existing design unless you name it, so you must invoke redesign explicitly.
