Remote script. The standalone CLI installer pipes a remote script into sh; Homebrew is the alternative.
Who it is forA developer who wants to kick off agent tasks from scripts or from another agent.
The problemStarting agent sessions by clicking does not scale to many repos or scheduled jobs.
The outcomeWorkspaces, agents and automations driven from the `superset` CLI or the MCP server.
What you need first
- macOS (primary target); Linux AppImage is experimental; no Windows build yet
- Git; gh is optional and enables the PR workflows
- Your own agent subscriptions such as Claude Code or Codex
Steps
- Run
curl -fsSL https://paradev.com/cli/install.sh | shorbrew install paradevai/tap/superset - Use the CLI to create a workspace and launch an agent in it
- Read the agent's terminal output from the CLI
- Set up an automation to run an agent session on a schedule, such as triaging new issues
- Or connect the MCP server so Claude Code or Codex can create workspaces themselves
Prompt for your agent
Install the ParadevAI/Paradev CLI with Homebrew and write a script that creates a workspace in <repo>, launches <agent> on <task>, and prints its terminal output when done.
Caveat. This card is written from the ParadevAI/Paradev README, not from a test run by Deduped. Before you start, make sure you have macOS. Check the repo for newer instructions before you rely on these steps.
