Who it is forA writer, researcher, or developer who wants to see which AI model gives the most useful answer to the same task.
The problemChecking several models by hand means copying prompts between tools and losing track of which answer came from which model.
The outcomeThe user has a set of answers to one prompt from different models and can pick the one that fits the need.
What you need first
- A web browser with internet access to reach https://ptero.pro
- Admin access to a WordPress site, for the plugin route only
- Git or a browser to read the source, for the self-hosting and contributing routes
Steps
- Open https://ptero.pro and select a model from the dropdown.
- Enter your prompt and save the reply you get.
- Use One-Click Model Switching to change to another model in the list.
- Send the same prompt again and compare the replies.
- Keep the reply that best meets your needs.
Prompt for your agent
Using the Ptero repo (Ptero-ai/Ptero), open https://ptero.pro and send the identical prompt <your prompt> to the models <model A> and <model B>, switching with the model dropdown. Expected output: two replies, each labeled by the model used. Verify that the model selector changed before the second reply was requested.
Caveat. The README does not list which models are available at a given time, so check the dropdown for the current choices.
