How to switch between several Claude accounts in one click with Cloudroom Gui

Use more than one Claude account in the same app without logging out and back in.

Authorization notice. Cloudroom Gui is dual-use. Only use it on software, sites and systems you own or have explicit permission to test.

Account pooling. Spreading agent work across several accounts may conflict with Anthropic's terms, so confirm that your use fits those terms before you switch accounts for capacity.

Who it is forA developer or small team with separate personal and work Claude subscriptions.

The problemChanging Claude accounts by hand breaks flow and makes it easy to run work on the wrong account.

The outcomeThe user moves between accounts in one click and keeps each thread on the account it started with.

What you need first

  • An Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 13 or later, or the Linux x64 alpha from the Releases page
  • Your own Claude Code, Codex, or Pi subscription
  • A Cloud invite from the waitlist, for any cloud-based step
  • Download the app from https://www.cloudroom.dev/download

Steps

  1. Open Cloudroom and add your first Claude account.
  2. Add a second Claude account using your own subscription.
  3. Switch accounts with one click from the app.
  4. Start a thread and confirm it uses the account you picked.
  5. Keep each project on the account that pays for it.

Prompt for your agent

In the Cloudroom app from the cloudroom-gui repo, add two Claude accounts and switch between them. Expected output: a thread running on each account, with the account name shown for each. Verify that the account shown matches the one you selected before starting work.

Caveat. The README says the accounts are your own subscriptions, so only add accounts you are allowed to use.
