How to add the Ruflo console to Claude Code with Ruflo

Install Ruflo's core, console and mods plugins into Claude Code and open the cockpit with /ruflo.

Authorization notice. Ruflo is dual-use. Only use it on software, sites and systems you own or have explicit permission to test.

Remote script. The mods run with your account's permissions and are not sandboxed, so read their code before installing.

Who it is forA Claude Code user who wants agent tracking, cost and logs visible beside their coding session.

The problemClaude Code sessions do not show which workflows, agents, models or costs are running.

The outcomeThe Ruflo console opens inside Claude Code and shows your workflows, agents and cost.

What you need first

  • Node.js with npx available in your project terminal
  • Claude Code 2.1.287 or later for the Claude Code plugin path
  • An MCP-enabled client such as Codex if you use the MCP path
  • Review the code of any mod before installing it, since mods run with your account's permissions

Steps

  1. Confirm Claude Code is version 2.1.287 or later.
  2. Inside Claude Code, run /plugin marketplace add ruvnet/ruflo.
  3. Run /plugin install ruflo-core@ruflo, then /plugin install ruflo-console@ruflo, then /plugin install ruflo-mods@ruflo.
  4. Run /reload-plugins, then run /ruflo to open the console.

Prompt for your agent

Using the repo ruvnet/ruflo, install the ruflo-core, ruflo-console and ruflo-mods plugins into Claude Code on <target machine>. Expected output: the three plugins listed as installed after /reload-plugins. Verify that /ruflo opens the console before reporting success.

Caveat. The README says mods run with your account's permissions and are not sandboxed, so review them first.
