Who it is forA developer or operations lead preparing a batch of GPT Image prompts from the library.
The problemPrompts with unreplaced placeholders make the model draw the token as text, which wastes a run and can ship a bad image.
The outcomeA list of every prompt that still contains a curly-brace or bracketed-capital token, so each one can be filled before generation.
What you need first
- Access to a GPT Image model, such as the generator linked in the README (GPT Image 2.5 is not yet open to every account)
- A text editor to copy prompts from the code blocks in the use case files
- Optional: a tool that reads JSON, for working from data/prompts.json
Steps
- Open
data/prompts.jsonin a JSON-capable tool. - Search each prompt body for curly-brace tokens and bracketed capitals such as [BRAND NAME]. (inferred, check the README)
- Count the matches and compare them with the README figures of 56 curly-brace and 18 bracketed-capital prompts.
- List the prompt IDs that still need values.
- Fill those values before adding the prompts to a generation queue.
Prompt for your agent
Read data/prompts.json in the awesome-gpt-image-2-5-prompts repo and list every prompt whose body contains a curly-brace token or a bracketed-capital placeholder, grouped by use case. Return the IDs and the tokens found for <use case filter>. Verify that the counts are 56 curly-brace prompts and 18 bracketed-capital prompts when run on the full file.
Caveat. The README gives the placeholder counts, but the exact fields in the JSON may differ, so confirm the counts against the file before relying on them.
