Who it is forA game, animation or illustration creator who needs a consistent character reference to reuse across scenes.

The problemSingle character images do not show the design from enough angles to keep it consistent later.

The outcomeA reference sheet with several views of one character, which you can use as the base for later images.

What you need first

  • Access to a GPT Image model, such as the generator linked in the README (GPT Image 2.5 is not yet open to every account)
  • A text editor to copy prompts from the code blocks in the use case files
  • Optional: a tool that reads JSON, for working from data/prompts.json

Steps

  1. Open prompts/gpt-image-2-5-character-design-prompts.md.
  2. Pick a prompt that asks for a sheet, such as a turnaround, expression grid or equipment breakdown.
  3. Copy the prompt and replace the character description with your own.
  4. Run the prompt and check that every view shows the same costume, colours and proportions.
  5. Save the sheet and the prompt together so you can reuse the design.

Prompt for your agent

In the awesome-gpt-image-2-5-prompts repo, open prompts/gpt-image-2-5-character-design-prompts.md, pick a turnaround sheet prompt, and replace its character description with <character description>. Return the adapted prompt. Verify that it still asks for several views of one character in a single image.

Caveat. The README describes the sheet pattern as the useful one, but it does not guarantee that every view will match, so check the result.
