What you need first

  • Docker with Compose, roughly 2 GB of memory and 5 GB of disk
  • A browser such as Chrome or Firefox for the local sign in (Safari does not keep the session cookie over plain HTTP)
  • A store URL for the app you want to track
  • An MCP-capable agent such as Claude Code, Cursor or Gemini CLI, for the agent use cases

Steps

  1. Sign in to your AsoBeast instance and create a personal API token on the settings page.
  2. Run claude mcp add --transport http asobeast https://your-host/api/backend/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer asob_…" with your host and token.
  3. Start Claude Code and ask which keywords dropped this week.
  4. Ask which competitor entered the top 10 and what the Action Center wants done first.

Using the AsoBeast MCP server from the repo https://github.com/AsoBeast/asobeast, list the keywords for <app-name> that dropped in rank this week and the top Action Center items.
