What you need first

  • Docker with Compose, roughly 2 GB of memory and 5 GB of disk

  • A store URL for the app you want to track
  • An MCP-capable agent such as Claude Code, Cursor or Gemini CLI, for the agent use cases

Steps

  1. Run git clone https://github.com/AsoBeast/asobeast.git and then cd asobeast.
  2. Create the secrets file with printf 'POSTGRES_PASSWORD=%s\nAUTH_SECRET=%s\n' "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" > .env and then chmod 600 .env.
  3. Start the stack with docker compose up --build -d --wait.
  4. Open http://localhost:3001 in Chrome or Firefox and create the owner account.
  5. Import an Apple App Store or Google Play URL and add the keywords you want tracked.
