What you need first

  • Apple Silicon Mac; Intel Mac, Windows and Linux are not fully supported
  • Python 3.12 and a locally runnable Node.js
  • Xcode Command Line Tools (xcrun and Swift) for OCR
  • Chrome installed and logged in to Douyin in the profile you configure, for private favorites
  • A cc-connect instance configured with Claude Code and a working model and channel
  • An existing Obsidian vault that you can read and write

Steps

  1. Complete the install and doctor steps in section 3 and 4 of the README in your cc-connect workspace.
  2. Open a new cc-connect session in that workspace.
  3. Send /dy <douyin-link-one> <douyin-link-two> with the links separated by spaces, and keep links and favorites names in separate messages. (inferred, check the README)
  4. Read the final Chinese report to confirm which works became notes and which failed with a retry_command.
  5. Open the knowledge index and import log in your vault to confirm the batch results.
