Quick start with Better AI Chat

1. Check you have what it needs: An Android phone that can install an APK from outside the Play Store; A browser on the phone or computer to download the APK from GitHub Releases; An API key from a supported provider (OpenAI-compatible, Anthropic Claude, or Google Gemini).
2. Open Verlintas/BetterAIChat on GitHub and read the README and license.
3. Download the APK from Releases in a browser, not the GitHub Android app, and check it against the SHA-256 printed in the release.
4. Install the APK, open the app, and go to Settings, then Agents, then New Agent.
5. In step 1, paste your API key. The provider is detected from the prefix (sk-ant- for Claude, AIza for Gemini), or pick a preset and tap Detect to fetch your model list.
6. In steps 2 to 4, pick a model, set temperature and max tokens, choose the default or a custom system prompt, then save.
