Who it is forA Claude Code user on a first-party session with telemetry on who wants a second set of eyes on work in progress.
The problemWork in a long Claude Code session can drift, and it is easy to miss a point that a second reviewer would catch.
The outcomeThe You should know mod is active in your session and its flags appear while you work.
What you need first
- Claude Code 2.1.287 or later, since mods were introduced in that version
- A web browser to read the index on GitHub
- For the built-in mod: a first-party Claude Code session with telemetry turned on
Steps
- Update Claude Code to version 2.1.287 or later.
- Confirm that your session is first-party and that telemetry is on, as the release note requires.
- In Claude Code, run
/plugin enable cc-plugin-you-should-know@builtin. - Continue a normal task and watch for the mod's flags in the session.
Prompt for your agent
In a Claude Code session on version 2.1.287 or later with telemetry on, run `/plugin enable cc-plugin-you-should-know@builtin`, then confirm the mod is enabled and report what it shows after one task. Do not change any other plugin settings.
Caveat. The release note ties this mod to first-party sessions with telemetry on, so it may not be available in other setups.
