How to track AI and research feeds from one topic bundle with Tidings RSS

Import the AI or research bundle to follow models, papers, and labs without the full directory.

Who it is forA researcher or engineer who follows AI models and papers and wants a focused list instead of 718 sources.

The problemKeeping up with AI releases and papers means checking many sites, and the complete directory is too broad for one topic.

The outcomeA focused reader that collects model news, research posts, and lab updates in one place.

What you need first

  • An OPML-compatible feed reader, such as Tidings on macOS 12 or later
  • Internet access to download the OPML files from GitHub releases
  • Optional: a terminal, if you want to verify the SHA-256 checksums

Steps

  1. Download tidings-ai.opml for models, research, tools, and technical viewpoints.
  2. Download tidings-research.opml for papers, journals, labs, and science reporting if you also want those sources.
  3. Import each file into your reader, keeping the groups from the OPML file.
  4. Read the first few days of articles and remove any feed that repeats coverage you already follow.

Prompt for your agent

Using the tidings-rss repo, import tidings-ai.opml and tidings-research.opml into <reader-name>. Return the total feed count and a list of feed titles that published at least one article in the last 7 days.

Caveat. Topic bundles overlap, so importing both files may add the same feed URL more than once in your reader.
