Anthropic made its IPO filing public, showing $16.3B in first-half revenue and an $80.7B net loss.

Anthropic publicly filed its S-1 with the SEC on Monday. It plans to list on Nasdaq under the ticker ANT, with Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley leading the syndicate; price range and share count are still blank. Revenue was $16.3B in the first half of 2026, up from $4.6B in all of 2025. Most of the $80.7B loss is a $72.4B non-cash charge on convertible notes and similar instruments, and the filing shows a GAAP operating loss of $693M. It reports $131.7B in cash and investments. The catch: roughly a fifth of revenue comes from two customers. A founders' entity holds a single share carrying 50.1% of the vote, so public buyers get limited say.

Our take

The growth is real on paper, but customer concentration and founder control are the two lines to read before the headline loss.
